When programs open in a second window (such as Collaborate on Blackboard), if pop up blockers are turned on, the window will not open.

Here is how to turn off pop up blockers:
In Chrome:
1. Select the three dots in the upper right corner
2. Select Settings.
3. Select the Privacy and Security from the side menu
4. Click Site Settings
5. Click Pop Ups and Redirects under Contents
6. Click the dot next to "Blocked" so that it switches to "Allowed."

In Firefox:
1. Select the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner
2. Select Options.
3. Select the Privacy and Security tab.
4. Uncheck the box that says “Block pop up windows”
